About Me

Hi, my name is Christelle M. Kongolo.
I’ve been in love with words since I was 11, back in the Democratic Republic of Congo. My little notebooks now across the ocean with me in Canada still carry the raw beginnings of my voice. They’ve held my secrets, my questions, and some of the quotes and poems that mean the most to me.
Writing has always been more than just a passion, it’s been my anchor, my quiet companion, and the way I make sense of the world. Whether through joyful moments or difficult seasons, it’s been there, helping me to feel, to reflect, and to heal.
In 2020, I published Les émotions entrecroisées, my first poetry and quote collection about love, nostalgia, healing, fear, joy and silence too.
Then, in 2024, I released my second collection Les Roses Ont Des Épines and Roses Have Thorns. In it, I chose to write without filters, to let myself be seen raw and honest. Each page is a letter, a whisper, a moment that speaks of love in all its complexity.
Today, through books, tote bags, and other poetic creations, I continue to do what I’ve always loved most: writing words that speak to the heart.
